In this paper the author discusses piety and holiness of life as a condition of preaching the gospel for evangelicals. To be able to describe what the research objectives are, the author uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative form. The research techniques used were observation techniques and documentation techniques with data collection tools in the form of observation guidelines and literature study, and to maintain credibility, the authors used authentic and published literature. From the research results, it is found that in evangelical circles, godliness and holiness of life are seen as absolute requirements that must be possessed in the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom of God. Before going to preach the gospel, a person must live in a godly and holy life, this is important because in preaching the gospel the role of the Holy Spirit is very urgent. The holy spirit will only use a person to be His instrument in reaching the soul if you have a life of pleasure.
